Garza Film Club
Meetings are every Tuesday and Thursday during lunch at 12pm, noon in Ms. Villalobos's room (room 212).
In film club, we try to guess soundtracks from movies and watch a short film or two in the first fifteen minutes. In the second half of club meetings, we openly discuss our projects. We plan community showings of obscure short films and short films done by our club members, we eventually hope to host a local short film contest, and twice a month we have pitching sessions. We crew for each other and are like the regular film class, but instead of teachers, we lead each other and we are free to do with the club as we wish. All-in-all, Garza's film club is a place for our students to find film resources, share information and experiences with one another, and learn together about film.
